My name is Julia Lyon, born and raised on the countryside near Cologne. Since my childhood, I have been fascinated by nature. I was especially drawn to snails, beetles and other small creatures I could find in our garden and in the forests. I loved watching animal documentaries, especially underwater ones, a fascination that has stayed with me ever since.

Being in nature gives me peace and strength. I am always inspired by its forms, colors, beautiful creatures, and the way the world has evolved over millions of years. I feel deeply connected to the forest, the mountains and to the sea. So familiar and gentle, yet at the same time so unpredictable and untamed.

My connection to Brazil comes through my mother, who was born in São Paulo. It is far more than just our Brazilian passports that connect us to the land. It is the nature, the people, and the warmth of this place that have always touched and inspired me.

I love working with my hands, creating, building, shaping, or repairing. I am deeply inspired by my father, who built the house I grew up in with his own hands, taking part in every step, eager to learn along the way. It showed me that we don’t need to master everything today, what matters is the willingness to learn, and tomorrow we will know how.

comorio is born from all that I am and all that I experienced so far. It carries my heart. The world of comorio is so vivid in my mind that the path feels clear and right where I belong.

For me, comorio means embracing change, honoring emotions, and never holding on to just one version of ourselves. It is about seeing transformation and transition as essential parts of life, and always remaining open to discovering ourselves over and over again.
